During their sophomore year, students in the R.E.A.L. Early College Program are required to complete a comprehensive research project. The mentoring program collaborates with the students and provides opportunities for students to do research on John Carroll’s campus. In the spring, the students present their research at the Celebration of Scholarship.

Below are resources for students to reference as they work through their research projects.

The Purdue OWL (link below) houses fantastic resources on research and formatting. For the writing portion of the project, this site can help evaluate primary and secondary sources and cite them properly in your paper. There are descriptions and examples of every writing question you may have as you work on this project.
